In which Department do we have to give the Entrance Test to GCU Lahore?

Before the previous year admission to GCU Lahore was only on the base of intermediate marks. But as the last year, students got marks that were out of expectations. And was quite challenging to check the caliber of students.

Therefore, last year (2021) GCU Lahore announced an undergraduate admission test to check the caliber of students. And it is mandatory for all students to be admitted to any department at the undergraduate level, even at an intermediate level.

So, all the students appearing for admission to GCU Lahore have to give this entrance test. Without providing this test your admission will not proceed more.

What would be the test Pattern?

The entrance test will comprise 30 marks. And you would have to get 50% marks (15 marks) to be eligible for an interview.

There would be two portions of the test:

i. English (Compulsory Portion)

ii. Subject Portion

The English Compulsory portion would be 10 marks and the Subject Section would be 20 marks. The test would be mostly from Intermediate Books.

How to calculate the aggregate:

The aggregate formula of GCU Lahore for undergraduate admissions is given below:

Weightage of entry test: 30%
Weightage Of intermediate: 40%
Weightage of Interview:20%
Weightage of Matriculation:10%

How we will know about our entry test date:

After the closing date of applying for admission, GCU Lahore will upload the students at their student portals and also will announce it on its website. So you should check your student portal regularly and also visit the GCU Lahore website regularly.

How to do preparation for the GCU Lahore entry Test:

For preparation for the GCU Lahore undergraduate admission test, you should go through the intermediate books, especially the subject in which you are applying. i.e. if you’re applying to the physics department you should go through the intermediate physics books for the subject section.

For the English compulsory portion, you should have an excellent command of English Grammar, Creative writing, Composition, Preposition, and analytical analysis ability. You should also have command in writing essays on each topic, which means you should be enough creative.

How to Get Sample paper?

As last year's 1st-time GCU Lahore was conducting an undergraduate admission test, their university uploaded sample papers on the website for the guidance of students, but unfortunately, later university removed the sample papers from its website therefore now you can’t get sample papers.

But don’t worry I have a solution to this problem. With the help of my friends, I became able to collect those sample papers from the different students who took admission last year. And luckily, I became able to collect almost all the sample papers from each department and I am sharing them here.
