GCU Lahore has announced the Intermediate admissions for Fall 2024. The last date to apply for intermediate admissions in fall 2024 is 30 April 2024.
How to Apply for Admission:
- Please complete your registration by applying online at www.gcuonline.pk and generating the challan form. The processing fee of Rs. 1000/- must be deposited in any branch of UBI across Pakistan using the challan from 08-04-2024 to 30-04-2024. Payments must be made through UBI; mobile app or Omni payments are not acceptable.
- There is no need to submit a hard copy or printout of the Admission Form to GC University Lahore. Original documents, along with one (01) set of photocopies, will be required only for shortlisted candidates during the interview.
- Each program, group, and category requires a separate online Admission Form to be filled out.
- We recommend visiting the GCU website regularly for the latest news and updates regarding the admission process.
Merit Calculation:
Admissions shall be granted based on BISE Grade-IX results, as per directions of the Higher Education Department. Government of the Punjab in the following disciplines:
- Pre-Medical
- Pre-Engineering
- Computer Science
- Commerce
- General Science
- Arts (Humanities)Requirements for Admission:
Admission Pre Requirements
For Matriculation Candidates:
- Applicants who have completed their 9th class with a minimum of 60% marks in 2023 and are currently appearing in the 10th class annual exams in 2024 are eligible to apply.
- Students who have already cleared their matriculation exams are eligible for admission. However, they must not be enrolled in or have appeared in the Intermediate Part-I exams at any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).
- Upon admission, candidates must successfully pass their 10th class exams in the 1st annual examination of 2024; otherwise, their admission will be revoked.
- Failing the 10th class exams will lead to removal from the college's roster, with no refund of fees.
Ineligibility Conditions:
- Students appearing in combined exams of 9th and 10th in 2024 are ineligible.
- Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects in the 9th class cannot apply.
- Those who passed their SSC in the Supplementary Examination of 2019 or earlier are ineligible.
- Applicants who have cleared SSC (Tech) are not eligible for admission.
For O'Level Candidates:
Students applying based on O' Level or equivalent qualifications are eligible for provisional admission.
Their admission will be finalized upon the submission of their complete results, meeting the requirement of 8 subjects as per IBCC Rules.
The University will register them with BISE Lahore once they fulfill this requirement before the Board Registration deadline.
Special Quota Seats:
Two percent quota will be observed for the Disabled and Minorities in admissions Financial Assistance is available for the deserving students.
